Unclaimed Property Discussion With the State of Delaware
As corporations and their owners continue to struggle through the challenges posed by COVID-19, compliance with tax and unclaimed property laws may not be top of mind but cannot be overlooked. With more than two-thirds of the country’s Fortune 500 companies and nearly 1.5 million legal entities incorporated in Delaware, knowledge of the state’s Unclaimed Property Voluntary Disclosure Agreement (VDA) program is essential for those holders.
